Tanya Tedesco works with a person centred approach to counselling and works on change principles which aim to help the client to develop their self-awareness, assisting them to recognise their thoughts and feelings and explore how their reactions impact on the decisions and choices that they have to make. Tanya works together with the client on discovering the client’s inner strengths and how they can use these strengths to make decisions and changes to suit their needs. Tanya describes herself as an all-round counsellor with skills in anxiety and depression, grief and loss, relationship counselling, adolescents and crisis support.
Originally from England Tanya has travelled extensively and believes this has helped her to understand and respect different cultures. Tanya is empathetic and supportive as well as being non-judgemental, experienced, and professional and she prides herself in her understanding and acceptance of others.
