LAUNCESTON B&B HOLIDAY RETREAT

My Tasmanian holiday retreat backs onto the South Esk River which runs down and into the spectacular Cataract Gorge in the town of Launceston. The private apartment with its two queen-sized bedrooms, bathroom, lounge and huge balcony, provides ideal accommodation for the corporate market and holiday makers (one person, a couple, or two couples travelling together).

Each room is north-facing, beautifully appointed and spacious, with antique furnishings. Your private balcony, which captures the exquisite river views, is the perfect spot to unwind first thing in the morning or with a drink in the evenings as the sun goes down.

Everything you could want is provided: kitchenette with provisions for cooked or continental breakfasts, wireless broadband internet, television, CD player, bath towels & linen, electric blankets, undercover gas barbeque, books & magazines, hair dryer, reverse cycle air-con, fully equipped laundry, and off-street parking for two cars. (Note: we are a non-smoking environment.)

RATES

One bedroom: $200.00 per night, 1-2 people
Two bedroom: $300.00 per night, 3-4 people
These rates include full breakfast provisions, free WiFi and off-street parking, chocolates & fruit on arrival.

Rates valid to 31st March 2014.
Minimum two nights stay.
A cancellation policy applies.

ACTIVITIES

The property is on the South Esk River which is a haven for birds and native animals. Bird-watching is available on site.

Bushwalking and wilderness experiences are available on-site. There is a short bush walk in front of the property that goes along the South Esk river.

Canoeing & Kayaking: Guests welcome to bring their own canoe/kayak; secure storage facilities are available. We are located on 50 meters from the waterfront.

The Launceston Golf Club is a bus ride away or a five minute drive.

A bus service is a five min walk away which takes you to Launceston and the Casino and Golf Club.

All guests are welcome. We are Gay & Lesbian friendly, offering a high degree of privacy, with operators well informed of gay and lesbian friendly activities and attractions in the area.
